Job summary

PUMA North America, Inc. is seeking an experienced retail leader for a Store Manager position in the United States. You will drive sales, lead a team, manage scheduling and payroll, and ensure exceptional customer service aligned with PUMA brand values.

You will oversee recruitment, training, and performance reviews, while maintaining profitability and compliance across daily store operations. This role requires flexibility for non-traditional hours and occasional travel.

Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years' management experience in a focused, customer service-oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear).
  • Proven ability to exceed sales goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to reason through complex issues.
  • Strong team player.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to present information to large groups.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Computer skills, basic know-how about MS Office programs, and retail software.
  • Ability to lift/carry, push/pull up to 30 pounds regularly.
  • Required to work non-traditional hours; weekends, evenings, holidays; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA's Brand Values and service standards.
  • Responsible for ensuring the Store consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs and profitability goals through the effective of short- and long-term planning, expense control, sales and service.
  • Responsible for assisting the Store Manager with the recruitment, training, development and succession of high performing, results-driven employees.
  • Assist in holding team accountable through productivity conversations, coaching, recognition and performance reviews.
  • Responsible for payroll control and service-driven scheduling in order to maintain a highly profitable location while providing the highest levels of service to customers.
  • Will act as Store Manager when the Store Manager is away from the store for any reason.
  • Ensure completion and effectiveness of training programs.
  • Manage and monitor Loss Prevention education and awareness programs.
  • Required to comply with all Policies & Procedures, operational core competencies and key accountabilities.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy and compliant working and shopping environment.
  • Attend off-site training and position-related meetings as required; travel may be required.
  • Required to work non-traditional hours; weekends, evenings, holidays; overtime may be required.

YOUR TALENT

The base pay for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 + Bonus + Benefits (Benefit Summary Full Time) Pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
