We are currently looking for the right Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our team!

Salary: $13.00 to $16.50 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process! Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $4.64 per hour ON TOP OF YOUR HOURLY RATE.

Position Summary

Seeking an Assistant Store Manager with at least 6 months of management or 3rd key experience. Responsible for daily store operations, team development, recruitment, financial goal achievement, and customer satisfaction. Will analyze financial statements, promote the business, and manage various merchandise including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

This role offers an hourly wage plus commissions and performance bonuses. Actual pay depends on location, experience, and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Foster a customer-centric environment and address customer issues promptly.
• Train and develop pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, manage cash and merchandise, and ensure asset protection.
• Oversee inventory, loan management, merchandising, and reporting processes.
• Review financial statements and drive profitability.
• Maintain operational standards and monitor loan processes.
• Complete training and self-development tasks.
• Communicate store goals and mission to staff.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting for extended periods.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Effective supervision skills.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification.
• Minimum age 18, High School Diploma or GED.
• Flexible location and schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Work 40+ hours weekly, with computer literacy and multi-tasking skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and cash handling skills.
• Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic.
