Position Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six (6+) months of management/3rd key experience. This role involves managing daily store operations, leading and developing staff, recruiting, and maintaining customer satisfaction. You will work alongside the Store Manager to analyze financial statements, promote asset protection, and drive store growth. This position offers an hourly wage plus commissions and performance bonuses.
Responsibilities of an Assistant Store Manager
- Foster a customer-centric environment and address customer issues promptly.
- Assist in training and developing staff to meet company standards.
- Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash and merchandise counts.
- Ensure asset protection and inventory control.
- Oversee store processes including loans, inventory, merchandising, and reporting.
- Analyze financial data to meet profitability goals.
- Ensure operational standards are maintained or exceeded.
- Monitor loan processes for integrity and value.
- Perform self-development tasks and communicate store goals effectively.
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Supervisory experience and ability to work with firearms (certification required).
- Minimum age of 18, high school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literacy and cash handling experience.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic.

Commission Plan
Assistant Store Managers can earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit, with details provided during interviews.
