Position Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six (6+) months of management/3rd key experience. This role involves managing daily store operations, developing staff, recruiting, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will analyze financial statements, promote asset protection, and work with various merchandise including jewelry, electronics, and firearms (where applicable).

This position offers an hourly wage, PLUS commission based on productivity and a performance bonus. The actual pay depends on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.

Responsibilities Of An Assistant Store Manager Are

• Foster a customer-centric environment and address issues promptly.
• Assist in training staff to meet company standards.
• Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
• Manage store opening and closing procedures, including cash and merchandise counts.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory and loan management.
• Oversee store operations, including merchandising and reporting.
• Analyze financial data and drive profitability.
• Maintain operational standards and monitor loan processes.
• Participate in self-development and team communication.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Effective supervision skills.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification.
• Minimum age of 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work in multiple locations and on weekends/holidays.
• Computer literacy and cash handling experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills.
• Independent work capability and strong work ethic.
