Position Summary:

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six (6+) months of management/3rd key experience. Assistant Store Managers are accountable for the day-to-day operations of the store and promoting a positive/productive environment.

Responsibilities of an Assistant Store Manager:
  • Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers.
  • Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
  • Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise.
  • Ensure asset protection through inventory control.
  • Administer processes and procedures within the store.
  • Evaluate the store's financial statements and drive profitability.
  • Ensure that operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards.
  • Monitor loan qualification and buying processes.
  • Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
  • Communicate clearly with employees about store’s mission and profit objectives.
  • Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
  • Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods of time.
  • Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
  • Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
  • Minimum Age: 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule.
  • Assistant Store Managers will work 40+ hours a week.
  • Computer literate and able to operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Cash handling experience is required.
  • Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.

Commission Plan Information: The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Assistant Store Managers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission, based on the gross profit of their personal performance.
