Role Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will partner with your Store Manager to support store team members in achieving sales performance expectations through active coaching, development of a team selling environment, and operational excellence when you are the manager on duty. This includes working with your Store Manager to assist in recruiting, hiring, and training the store team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Leadership
  • Partner with Store Manager to lead store staff in achieving sales, service, and operational goals.
  • Support in setting performance expectations and training staff in sales, customer service, and operations.
  • Model company values and lead by example as an active coach.
  • Communicate priorities and sales information effectively.
  • Assist in recruiting and fostering an inclusive environment.
Performance & Operational Excellence
  • Support the achievement of store business plans and sales targets.
  • Assist in developing and executing plans to maximize sales and performance.
  • Use data and reports to inform decisions and identify opportunities.
  • Participate in outreach and communicate leads appropriately.
  • Help ensure proper staffing, training, and operational procedures are followed.
Workplace & Customer Experience
  • Contribute to an engaging and inclusive environment.
  • Support training and development initiatives.
  • Lead by example and motivate the team.
  • Assist in recruitment efforts.
  • Ensure store presentation aligns with brand standards and marketing initiatives.
  • Train staff on customer service expectations and leverage feedback to improve.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years retail or sales experience.

Physical Requirements
