ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Assistant Store Manager is crucial to our success, supporting the Management Team in operations and team leadership. You will drive daily store performance, motivate employees, and ensure excellent customer service. Managing inventory, visual merchandising, and sales strategies, you will directly impact the store’s profitability and success.

COMPENSATION RATE:

STARTING RATE: $20.30

HOURLY RANGE: $20.30-$21.54

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to meet sales goals, deliver excellent customer service, and foster a positive environment.
  • Visual Merchandising: Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
  • Operations Management: Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and operational tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Sales Management: Implement strategies to drive revenue and exceed sales targets.
  • Problem-Solving: Address operational issues and resolve customer concerns to maintain satisfaction.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills for managing inventory and operations
  • Experience in sales management and meeting targets
  • Ability to create a respectful, inclusive, and safe work environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Confidentiality and a sense of urgency
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Leadership experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality preferred
  • Sales skills to drive revenue
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old
