You will learn every product area, supervise staff in the Manager’s absence, and help drive store profitability by closely monitoring inventory, sales, and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage a team and keep up with store goals.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking.
• Team-player with passion for customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Lead in personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Direct staff to meet department responsibilities and standards.
• Maintain exceptional customer service per manuals and policies.
