Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets and store operations.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to plan actions for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Serve as acting store leader in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Support recruitment, training, and evaluation of staff.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments when needed.
• Monitor inventory, sales stats, and expenses to ensure profitability across departments.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Maintain excellent customer service and assist customers entering the store, including during peak periods.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
• Uphold company policies and internal controls.
