Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets and achieving departmental store goals.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Assist in personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to help profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Maintain customer service as highlighted in the customer service manual.
