Job summary

Jockey is seeking an energetic Assistant Manager for the Grove City, PA location. You will provide leadership as the Manager on Duty, guiding store team in sales, merchandising, and customer service while overseeing training and development.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of successful management experience in a retail environment.
• Strong selling experience with proven performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to attract, develop and retain talent.
• Flexibility to work opening/closing shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Strong working knowledge of POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership reflecting Jockey’s values and culture.
• Establish positive relationships with coworkers and guests to achieve satisfaction goals.
• Lead and maintain accountability in guest service through training and communication.
• Assist in recruiting, selecting and training store associates.
• Support onboarding, training and development of new hires.
• Lead store team through coaching to achieve high performance.
• Review metrics with staff to drive profitability and service.
• Maintain store standards including visuals, security, inventory, HR, and policies.
• Assist with merchandising, stock, markdowns, and visuals.
• Ensure adherence to corporate programs including Jockey Rewards.
• Perform store opening/closing procedures and sales transactions.
• Protect cash, inventory and assets according to policies.
