GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Banner Elk, NC convenience store. You will support the Store Manager and oversee daily operations, customer service, and team leadership on second or third shifts. Open availability is required, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Open availability for weekends/holidays and second/third shifts.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Food Safety Certification must have or be able to obtain.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations.
• Run the register and help customers quickly and accurately.
• Coach and motivate staff to upsell products and promotions.
• Assist hiring, training, and leading a high-performing team.
• Serve as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Keep the store clean and welcoming, including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage staff schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
