Sunglass Hut, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Assistant Manager I to lead daily store operations, coach teammates and drive sales. You’ll partner with the Store/Multi Store Manager to deliver outstanding customer experiences while maintaining merchandising standards.

The role emphasizes talent acquisition, on-floor leadership, and execution of promotions. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1+ years in retail, and a detail-oriented mindset with strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in store operations.
• Demonstrates expertise in every aspect of store operation.
• Detail-oriented with strong execution of store operations.
• Uses critical thinking to ensure operational execution.
• Previous leadership experience of 1+ years.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes all company tools to deliver sales plan, develop associates and achieve company objectives.
• Utilizes reporting tools and business acumen to identify and address performance gaps.
• Provides ongoing coaching for all associates to support growth and development.
• Acquires talent by networking and interviewing in partnership with the Store/Multi Store Manager.
• Spends a majority of the time on the sales floor and maintains customer relationships.
• Maintains brand standards and store merchandising.
• Keeps product knowledge up to date using learning tools.
• Ensures execution of operational policies and procedures.
• Communicates brand strategy and promotions clearly to the team.
