The ideal candidate brings 2–4 years in an assistant manager or retail leadership role, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• Three to five years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to ensure sales goals and customer experience standards are met.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, and cash handling.
• Assist with hiring, candidate screening, interviews, onboarding, and training support.
• Help maintain staffing levels by supporting recruiting and retention.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to associates.
