Job summary

Chico's is seeking an Assistant Manager in Houston to support the Store Manager in leading a store team and delivering a welcoming, customer-focused experience. The role emphasizes community engagement, operational excellence, and consistent brand presentation in-store.

You will coach associates, drive sales, and ensure stores run smoothly, including inventory and floor replenishment, while upholding company policies and standards. This is a full-time role within our Kingwood/Kingswood-area team.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong customer and peer relationship skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve the store's financial goals and motivate the team.
• Assist in hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store reflecting brand standards.
• Ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory and replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with policies and business practices.
