Job summary

Chico's in College Station, TX is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the team and delivering a welcoming, customer‑centered shopping experience.

You will coach associates, drive sales through product knowledge and omni‑channel service, manage inventory and replenishment, uphold brand standards, and help build community connections through events and philanthropy. The role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve the financial goals of the store and motivate the team.
• Assist in the hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Take ownership to ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and execution of inventories.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.
