Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to hit sales goals and service standards.
• Monitor sales and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Supervise and support staff in sales, inventory, cash handling, and service.
• Assist Store Manager with hiring, interviews, onboarding, and training.
• Help maintain appropriate staffing levels via recruiting and retention.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to associates.
• Maintain a safe, organized, customer-focused store environment.
• Reinforce adherence to company policies and loss prevention.
• Support merchandising, operations, and visual standards.
• Perform additional duties to support store operations.
