Seasons Corner Market in Providence, RI is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a team, deliver outstanding service, and partner with the Store Manager on daily operations. You will coach staff, manage merchandising, and help achieve sales and service goals in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role emphasizes initiative, teamwork, and a focus on customer satisfaction, with opportunities for growth and potential travel for openings as needed.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or cash handling preferred.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be available to work a schedule that aligns with the Store Manager.
• Willingness to travel and assist with new store openings for 3–6 weeks when required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide exceptional service by creating a friendly, welcoming experience for every guest.
• Supervise and support employees during daily operations while promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Assist the Store Manager with daily business operations and store performance goals.
• Process customer purchases using the POS system and cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain merchandising standards through stocking, inventory management, and store presentation.
• Keep sales floor, restrooms, and exterior areas clean and safe.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching new team members.
• Encourage sales growth through product knowledge, promotions, and suggestive selling.
• Follow company policies, safety standards, and procedures; complete reports and paperwork on schedule.
• Assist with employee scheduling, shift coverage, and daily workflow coordination.
• Support store remodels, grand openings, transition teams, and other initiatives.
