Rusty Lantern Markets in Providence, RI is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations and raise the bar on customer service. You’ll help maintain our high standards in a busy Providence store, working with the team to ensure smooth, efficient operations.

You will assist the Store Manager with staff supervision, scheduling, inventory control, budgeting and payroll tasks, while training and developing teammates to improve performance and drive sales.

Qualifications

• Retail managerial experience required.
• Strong communication with customers and staff.
• Experience with inventory control and cash handling.
• Budgeting and payroll familiarity preferred.
• Ability to train and develop team members.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with store operations administration.
• Kitchen familiarity is a plus but not required.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations and staff management in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered consistently by all team members.
• Manage inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Assist with budgeting and payroll tasks to ensure financial efficiency.

• Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records.
