Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead the team, and assist with hiring, onboarding, and development of store associates. You will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, maintain operational excellence, and ensure customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires 2–4 years of retail leadership experience and a strong focus on customer service, staffing, and process adherence.

Responsibilities

Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and service standards.
Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver customer service.
Assist with inventory control and shrink prevention.
Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
Assist Store Manager with hiring, onboarding, and training.
Help maintain staffing levels by supporting recruiting and retention.
Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to associates.
