Job summary

Hibbett is seeking an Assistant Manager in Valley, Alabama to support store operations and leadership in the Store Manager's absence. You will assist with selling, restocking, merchandising and scheduling while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in driving store performance and assets.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to plan selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Lead in the Store Manager's absence and oversee staff accordingly.
• Support hiring, training and evaluation of store personnel.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics and expenses to support profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Maintain exceptional customer service and assist customers during peak periods.
• Sell services and merchandise, uphold company policies and procedures.
