Job summary

Dollar Tree in Athens, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop the team. This role supports the Store Manager and leads Associates to meet store goals.

You will manage merchandise flow, assist with opening/closing, maintain store standards, and uphold safety and loss-prevention practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Retail or store management experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures, organize stockrooms, and ensure displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash receipts.
