Job summary

Hireology is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager in New York to support the Store Manager in daily operations, supervision, and customer service excellence. You may open/close, manage schedules, and help drive performance and reports for the franchise owner.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of retail experience, strong leadership, solid computer skills (MS Office and Adobe), and a dynamic, motivating personality capable of guiding a team toward defined targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree preferred.
• 1 year retail store operations experience with strong supervisory/leadership skills.
• P&L experience preferred; strong computer skills.
• Excellent listening, leadership, and communication abilities.
• Dynamic personality capable of motivating a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personnel management including recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Schedule work assignments and lead weekly/monthly staff meetings.
• Monitor and maximize customer service delivery and satisfaction.
• Available to work weekends as required.
• Help develop and implement the store marketing program.
• Manage store financials and prepare reporting.
• Oversee inventory control and accuracy.
• Review daily timesheets and process payroll.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
