Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager at our El Paso location to support daily operations and drive store performance. You will work closely with the Store Manager, supervise staff in their absence, and ensure outstanding customer service while promoting merchandise.

Your role emphasizes merchandising, restocking, scheduling, and achieving store goals with a strong focus on accuracy and accountability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage a team and keep up with goals and profits.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume store responsibilities in Store Manager's absence.
• Assist with recruitment, training, and evaluation of store personnel.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers in all departments as needed.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to support profitability.
• Direct staff to meet departmental responsibilities and standards.
• Maintain high-quality customer service and assist customers during peak periods.
