Job summary

Family Dollar in Savannah, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help manage daily activities, organize merchandise, and ensure store standards are met.

The role requires strong communication and leadership, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Savannah store.

Qualifications

• Experience managing store operations in retail.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise transfers from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional displays and fixture effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, handling damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
