As a key leader, you’ll manage in the Store Manager’s absence, train new team members, and help set priorities for achieving sales goals while ensuring policy compliance and a high standard of customer care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-player with selling merchandise mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling store assets and operations.
• Develop action plans with the Store Manager for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Step in as acting Store Manager in their absence.
• Assist in personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales, and expenses to ensure store profitability.
• Direct staff to meet department responsibilities and standards.
• Communicate inventory movement and customer trends to the Store Manager.
• Deliver extraordinary customer service per policy manuals and standards.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise offered by Hibbett I City Gear.
