Job summary

The Men's Wearhouse is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Evansville, IN to partner with the Store Manager in driving sales, service, and operational excellence. You will coach the team, assist in recruiting and training, and ensure an exceptional customer experience in a high-volume environment.

You will lead by example, communicate priorities, and leverage data to improve performance while maintaining brand standards and a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Retail or Sales experience.
• Creative individual with good judgement and business sense.
• Self-motivated, results oriented and strategic thinker.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to train and develop high performing store teams.
• Proficient in technology systems, Microsoft Office and video conferencing.
• Ability to operate a computer and POS system.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager to coach and develop staff to meet sales goals.
• Recruit, hire and train store team members to deliver customer experience.
• Lead store meetings and communicate priorities to staff.
• Drive sales, service and operational excellence in day-to-day tasks.
• Utilize data and store reports to inform decisions and opportunities.
• Coordinate scheduling and staffing to ensure proper coverage.
