Ace Hardware in Windsor, CO seeks an Assistant Manager to run day-to-day store operations in partnership with the Store Manager. This full-time, exempt role focuses on maximizing sales, controlling expenses, stocking, and upholding Ace's customer-first service standard.

Responsibilities include hiring oversight, staff development, scheduling, payroll alignment, and coordinating in-store promotions. A strong candidate has leadership experience and bilingual skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years in retail leadership with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with P&L and budgeting is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities; Spanish preferred.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Store Manager on hiring decisions and act in absence of the Manager.
• Train and develop associates; provide ongoing performance feedback.
• Supervise staff to meet sales goals and follow procedures.
• Forecast scheduling needs and create work schedules.
• Co-manage payroll to budget with Store Manager.
• Direct in-store marketing, promotions and events with leadership.
