Sunglass Hut in Metairie, LA is seeking an Assistant Manager I to join our store leadership team. You will partner with the Store/Multi Store Manager to oversee daily operations, coaching, merchandising, and customer service on the sales floor.

This role emphasizes talent acquisition, development plans, and executing brand standards while building strong customer relationships and delivering a top-notch retail experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience required.
• Demonstrates expertise in every aspect of store operation.
• Detail-oriented and able to execute operational components of the store.
• Preferred: customer service/retail experience and 1+ years of leadership.

Responsibilities

• Leads in-store sales objectives and coaching of associates.
• Uses reporting tools to identify performance gaps and drive improvement.
• Provides ongoing coaching to support growth and development.
• Recruits and interviews talent with Store/Multi Store Manager.
• Develops personal development plans for team members.
• Spends majority of time on the sales floor.
• Builds strong customer relationships using company tools.
• Maintains brand standards and merchandising.
• Keeps product knowledge current using learning tools.
• Enforces operational policies and procedures.
• Communicates brand strategy, promotions, and incentives to the team.
