The Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager II to support daily operations, staff training, and visitor service excellence at the busy Welcome Center on the Presidio grounds. You will supervise team members, manage safety, assist with budgeting, and ensure accurate inventory and POS processes.

Prospective candidates should have retail supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, visitor-focused

Qualifications

• 2–3 Years’ Experience in Retail
• 2 Years’ supervisory experience or equivalent
• Some experience ordering merchandise and supplies
• Cash handling and/or Point of Sale system experience required
• Bilingual ability appreciated

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise staff to ensure excellent visitor service
• Train staff in safety operations and incident response
• Assist in recruitment, performance evaluations, and scheduling
• Monitor budget, cash reconciliation, and store deposits
• Oversee inventory and pricing with management
• Provide information to visitors about park sites and memberships
• Collaborate with partners across park sites and Presidio Trust
