Job summary

Dollar Tree in Springfield, IL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development.

You will assist with day-to-day functions, supervise and train associates, maintain stock and displays, ensure safety and policy compliance, and help drive sales through excellent service. This is a part-time role with benefits including EAP, retirement plans, and educational assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed and ensure the seasonal areas of the store are maintained.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and procedures including safety guidelines.
