Love’s Travel Stops is seeking an experienced C-Store Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations and drive efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction. Lead a team, manage processes, and execute strategies to grow sales while meeting goals.

The role requires supervising 5–10+ employees, managing cross-functional tasks, and collaborating with store leadership to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in retail or c-store management.
• 1+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+ million.
• 1+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 1+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations across diverse departments.
• Ensure a clean, safe facility and perform maintenance checks.
• Drive product sales through ordering, stocking, inventory, and merchandising standards.
• Assist the General Manager with scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Understand and analyze profit and loss statements to improve opportunities.
• Collaborate with managers on talent acquisition.
