Job summary

J.Crew Group is seeking an Assistant Manager in Maple Grove, MN to support a profitable retail business through genuine customer connections and team coaching. You will lead, mentor, and coach associates to deliver exceptional service and exceed store goals.

You’ll partner with leadership to adjust strategies, manage tasks, and ensure the selling floor is staffed to maximize performance. Availability includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a similar scope, preferably in specialty retail.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently.
• Must bend, reach, stretch for product, and lift at least 40 pounds.”

Responsibilities

• Be the role model for creating personalized connections with customers that drive loyalty and excitement for the brand.
• Observe associate performance on the selling floor and assist to make a connection or sale.
• Lead fit sessions that enhance product knowledge and fuel a style obsession.

• Own the selling floor and place the right people in the right places.
• Step in for another manager as needed.
