Job summary

GIRE is seeking an Retail Assistant Manager in Windsor, CA. The role supports the Store Manager in daily operations, leads staff and volunteers, and ensures safety, efficiency, and quality in donated goods retail.

It is a full-time, non-exempt position with benefits and a starting wage of $23.00 per hour. The ASM will supervise Store Leads and Associates, contribute to performance goals, manage payroll records, and uphold store standards while delivering excellent community service and ensuring

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ supervisory/management experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong math, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience training staff, clients, or volunteers preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle inquiries and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in daily operations and staff supervision.
• Oversee inventory, safety, and adherence to policies.
• Train and supervise staff and volunteers; act as manager on duty when needed.
• Support budget and financial objectives under supervision.
• Resolve issues with team members, clients, and donors with timely feedback.
