Job summary

Centric Brands Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager at our Woodbury Commons Outlet in New York. You will partner with the Store Manager to lead the team, drive sales, and deliver a memorable shopping experience through exemplary service.

The role requires 4+ years of retail experience and 2+ years of managerial responsibility in a customer-focused setting, with strong communication and a passion for fashion. Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years retail experience.
• 2+ years managerial experience in a customer service focused retail environment.
• Proven ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends.
• Effective management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong computer skills in Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Interest in fashion and trend awareness.
• Available to work five full days a week; flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the success of the store by motivating the sales team to achieve sales goals and KPIs.
• Support the Store Manager in achieving total store goals and KPIs.
• Create a customer service focused and sales driven environment.
• Demonstrate sales leadership by coaching associates on clienteling processes and standards.
• Develop knowledge of products, sizing, materials, inventory, and sales trends to assist with sales.
• Partner with the Store Manager to develop and train internal talent.
• Comply with company policies and procedures; open/close procedures; daily POS transactions.
• Ensure sales floor meets merchandising, visual presentation and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain professionalism in communication and teamwork with clients, peers and management.
