The Assistant Manager is trained to assume Store Manager responsibilities when needed and will participate in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff while ensuring policy compliance and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, footwear and apparel is common in this role.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience is typical.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling store operations and assets.
• Help establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Step in for Store Manager in their absence and carry out responsibilities.
• Recruitment, training, and evaluation of store staff in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and promote merchandise in-store.
