Job summary

Family Dollar in Richmond Hill, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, supervise associates, and ensure a clean, organized sales floor.

The role is part-time and requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards for customer service and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and ability to read/interpret store directives.
• Previous store management experience in retail preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers and address questions with a positive attitude.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas.
• Open/close procedures and payroll/scheduling records.
• Support loss prevention and cash handling processes.
