Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a part-time associate in Lenoir City, TN to support daily store operations and assist customers with a friendly, helpful attitude.

Responsibilities include restocking shelves, processing shipments, handling merchandise, and helping with opening/closing procedures. You will follow corporate directives, maintain displays, and support payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention tasks as needed.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks (frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Aufgaben

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey information requests and other communications.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts), and loss prevention.
• Maintain areas of the store to company standards (stock floor and stockroom).
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure associates follow policies.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Ensure cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
