Job summary

DXL Group is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences and coaching sales staff in a fast-paced setting. The role supports the Store Manager to hit sales plans, manage inventory, and uphold strong customer service standards.

Experience in a commission-based environment is a plus, with travel to neighboring stores possible. The position offers a base hourly wage plus commission potential and quarterly bonuses, reflecting the team-oriented

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree, a plus
• 1 year of experience as an Assistant Store Manager
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Previous experience in a commission-based environment is a plus
• Willingness to travel to neighboring store locations
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each guest feels welcomed by spending quality time to learn their needs
• Assist Store Manager to meet sales plans while monitoring customer service, inventory, expenses and risk
• Serve as a product knowledge expert with a broad range of apparel including private labels and names
• Provide on-going coaching and training for selling skills and procedures
