Job summary

DXL Group, the largest specialty retailer of men's Big + Tall apparel, is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager to build lasting relationships with guests and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (college degree a plus), 1 year as an Assistant Store Manager, 2 years in a supervisory role, willingness to travel to nearby stores, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience as an Assistant Store Manager.
• 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Willingness to travel to neighboring store locations.
• Able to lift up to 10 lbs. and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each guest is welcomed by spending time to learn about needs and lifestyle.
• Assist Store Manager to meet sales plans and monitor customer service, inventory, expenses, and risk.
• Serve as product knowledge expert to sell a broad range of apparel including private labels and name brands.
• Coach and train selling skills, behaviors, and store procedures for the sales team.
