Job summary

La Jolla Retail is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in San Diego to support the Store Manager with strong leadership and a guest-first approach. You will help run daily operations, train and motivate associates, and drive compelling sales results while upholding La Jolla’s values.

You’ll lead by example on service standards, help recruit and coach team members, and ensure visual and operational standards are consistently executed. This is an on-site role with a commitment to customer delight.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail management experience.
• Flexible availability to align with guest shopping times.

• Drive sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through a best-in-class in-store guest experience.

YOUR ROLE

As the Assistant Store Manager, you support the Store Manager by rocking out strong leadership skills and ensuring a stellar guest experience. You hold down the daily operations of the store as needed. You train, motivate and celebrate associates and you have a passion for driving killer sales results. • You have a passion for driving sales: As a Assistant Store Manager, you're an expert at driving sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through a best-in-class, in-store guest experience.

• You're a visual & operational innovator: You're a natural at executing and innovating daily visual and operational procedures including shipment processing, merchandising moves and visual standards. Most importantly, you ensure the Fitting Rooms are always guest-ready and rocking O'Neill standards.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Seeing: Must be able to see well enough to read reports.
