Job summary

Meijer is seeking a dedicated Asset Protection team member for our Michigan stores. You will visually inspect premises, monitor for theft, report hazards, and support safety programs to protect customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in security or at least 1 year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect exterior and parking lot to mitigate hazards.
• Conduct backroom and sales floor inspections.
• Review cashier exception reports.
• Conduct internal theft surveillance and follow up as necessary.
• Test and inspect camera equipment for effective operation.
• Participate in apprehension of those in violation of the law and assist in prosecution of external theft cases.
• Document incidents thoroughly for litigation and testimony in court.
