Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection professional to help maintain a safe store environment for customers and associates. You will conduct inspections, surveillance, and reporting to deter theft and ensure safety across the store.

The role requires at least 6 months in security or 1 year of general work experience, with a strong focus on documentation, accurate reporting, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months security experience or 1 year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects building exterior/parking lot to mitigate hazards.
• Performs walking inspections of backroom and sales floor.
• Reviews cashier exception reports.
• Conducts internal theft surveillance.
• Reviews theft activity reports and follows up as necessary.
• Conducts shoplifting surveillance.
• Reports safety hazards to Store Leadership for addressing.
