Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Palatine, IL is seeking a Store Loss Prevention Associate to complete daily duties, support safety programs, and maintain positive relations with Store Management.

You will observe, detain and report suspected theft, assist with investigations, coordinate shrink-related tasks with Store Management, and help keep a safe, compliant retail environment while supporting customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Observes, apprehends, and/or deters theft following policies.
• Communicates with Associates on shrink initiatives and safety.
• Coordinates shrink-related activities with Store Management.
• Completes paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintains evidence and participates in investigations as needed.
• Supports safety programs and complies with labor laws.
• Provides courteous service to customers while protecting assets.
• Ensures compliance with policies and maintains confidentiality.
