Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a dedicated security professional to ensure a safe and secure environment for customers, team members, and vendors.

The role focuses on proactive protection, theft prevention, and comprehensive incident documentation within the store environment. You will conduct exterior and interior inspections, monitor surveillance, review reports, and assist in apprehension and potential litigation as needed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in security or at least 1 year of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect building exterior/parking lot for hazards.
• Conduct walking inspections of backroom and sales floor.
• Review cashier exception reports.
• Conduct internal theft surveillance.
• Review theft activity reports and follow up as necessary.
• Engage in extensive documentation and report writing of incidents.
• Testify in court proceedings when required.
