Sony Electronics Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Account Management & Business Analytics Intern to support a team responsible for managing several of the company’s largest retail partners.

This role offers hands-on experience in financial analysis, promotional planning, sales operations, and business management within consumer electronics. The intern will support account managers by managing promotional calendars, tracking marketing investments, reconciling claims, analyzing business

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Accounting, or Data Analytics.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain retailer promotional calendars across multiple customer accounts.
• Track key promotional milestones, deadlines, and execution requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support promotional readiness.
• Assist with promotion setup, funding allocation, and post-promotional analysis.
• Develop recurring sales and business performance reports.
• Analyze revenue, margin, inventory, and promotional performance metrics.
• Assist with sales forecasting and demand planning activities.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within assigned accounts.
• Prepare executive-level summaries and business recommendations.
