The Retail Sales Analyst is a vital internal analytics position that delivers business insights and volume-growing recommendations to the PS&E (Perfect Store & Execution) and Sales teams.

The Retail Sales Analyst is accountable for modeling complex retail problems, discovering insights, and identifying opportunities through the use of statistical, algorithmic, mining, and visualization techniques. This role requires advanced data skills, proficiency in integrating and preparing large datasets, architecting specialized database environments, and communicating results effectively. Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Build management tools and reports to enable business insights and performance analysis
• Develop process improvement tools and algorithms to enhance sales efficiencies
• Research retail priorities and selling objectives to ensure team effectiveness at the point of sale
• Maintain knowledge of products, pricing, market dynamics to provide insightful findings
• Ensure adherence to company policies, programs, and procedures
• Pull data using algorithms, statistics, and advanced reporting to assess performance and drive insights
• Deliver customer, consumer, and category insights through collaboration with sales and business units
• Lead data analysis and storytelling for internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, look-up formulas) and PowerPoint
• 3+ years in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics, including relational databases and SQL
• Experience creating automated data processes
• Proficiency in Tableau for reporting and visualization
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently, plan, organize, and prioritize tasks across stakeholders
• Effective interpersonal skills (written, verbal, presentation)

Technical Knowledge & Skills

• Excel (Advanced), Tableau (Intermediate), Power BI (Beginner), SQL/Snowflake (Beginner)

Work Environment & Schedule

This is a remote role, performed from a home office, requiring a salaried, exempt schedule to meet business needs.

Our Total Rewards include flexible programs supporting our diverse workforce and their families.

Salary Range: $77,800 - $97,300

Bonus: Performance-based, as per plan

Compensation varies based on location, experience, and skills.
