Team Overview
MMIT is a technology and data company that works at the heart of our clients’ market access organizations to help provide data and insights over the course of the lifecycle of a drug. The Data Intelligence team delivers technical data expertise and reporting that answers our clients’ complex business questions.
Job Description
The Data Intelligence Analyst supports our clients by helping surface market access data in a meaningful way. The DIA is responsible for understanding client data requirements and developing technical specifications that meet those requirements. This key team member owns QA and ensures results meet business needs and provides consultative services to clients related to MMIT data and our data feed product.
To Succeed In This Role, You Will
- Create, maintain, and automate dashboards and complex analytical reports using data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Analyze complex data sets to answer specific questions using MMIT’s market access data in SQL
- Define customized technical specifications to surface custom data in MMIT tools
- Perform advance statistics on massive datasets to assess data quality and to detect any data errors/exceptions using any scripting language such as R/Python
- Ability to use ETL tools like Tableau prep/Power Query to import, clean, transform, verify, and model the data to use it for further analysis
- Manage new dashboard development projects from inception to completion
- Collaborate with client, Client Success Manager, and Business Analyst to understand each client's business questions
- Provide L2 support to troubleshoot issues and plan fixes with tenacity
- Coordinate with development and product team to manage the JIRA scrum dashboard
- Act as Market Access data SME to educate and advise the clients on how to optimally use MMIT’s data to meet their business needs
- Examine opportunities for process automation and enhance performance
- Manage and analyze a multitude of clinical and coverage data
- Execute work in a timely fashion with high accuracy, while managing various competing priorities
- Ensure adherence to documentation requirements, process workflows, timelines, and escalation protocols
Relevant Skills And Experiences
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience required.
- Fundamental knowledge of Pharma/market access space.
- 2-4 years doing strong analytical work within large data sets preferably within the Pharma/market access space.
- 2-4 years of strong experience working on Tableau
- Practical experience in SQL queries using MS-SQL Server, Oracle platform
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
Good To Have Skills
- Analytical programming such as Python, R
- Basic understanding of HTML, HTML5, CSS3 is preferred
