Job summary

Vylor Inc. is seeking a Retail Sales Agronomist for Brevant Seeds in Northwest Indiana. The role owns retailer relationships, delivers product training, drives demand, and plans portfolio activities with retailer sellers.

You will train sellers, promote the portfolio, and collaborate with the RBM to execute account strategies. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in agronomy, business, or marketing and 3–5 years of agronomy and sales experience. Driving record check is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Agronomy, Business, or Marketing.
• 3–5 years agronomy and sales experience preferred; all levels considered.
• Agronomy skillset, selling tactics, negotiation skills, and influence.
• Understanding of Agronomy and Crop Production practices.
• Understand key Crop Protection product offerings in the Territory.
• Understand changing market dynamics and build a network of strategic sellers to drive demand.
• Ability to pass driving record background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide product training and support to retail sellers in-person or through various media.
• Leverage and promote Brevant Seeds portfolio, instill knowledge and confidence in sellers.
• Collaborate with Retail Business Manager to implement account level strategy with retailers.
• Own and drive the seller plan and execute with strategic retail sellers.
• Help sellers demonstrate value beyond products to create product demand.
• Engage in sales execution, demand planning, inventory ownership, and strategy plotting with agronomy trainings.
• Coordinate efforts with Area Product Manager, SBC, customer service, supply, program teams, and other leaders.
