Job summary

The Bluebird Group is seeking a Retail Account Manager to support a portfolio of Costco supplier accounts, driving operational execution, forecasting accuracy, inventory management, and overall business performance. This role serves as a key link between clients, Costco, and internal teams, ensuring account health, identifying opportunities, and solving operational challenges.

The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and capable of juggling multiple priorities to support client objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with Costco on retailer or supplier side preferred.
• Experience in account management, retail operations, supply chain, forecasting, analytics, or related fields.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key point of contact for clients, Costco teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Build strong working relationships with vendor operations teams and Costco buying teams.
• Support day-to-day account management activities and ongoing business initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records related to program agreements, pricing, product information, order status, and planning activities.
• Assist with new vendor onboarding and setup activities for brands launching at Costco.
• Develop and manage demand forecasts to support inventory flow and business performance.
• Monitor inventory positions and in-stock levels, proactively identifying risks and recommending solutions.
• Analyze sales trends, forecasts, and replenishment needs to support client and retailer objectives.
• Partner with clients and internal teams to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory performance.
• Support planning for product launches, promotional events, and seasonal programs.
• Analyze vendor performance metrics and identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Conduct root cause analysis to resolve operational and performance challenges.
• Provide weekly sell-through reporting, analytics, and actionable recommendations to clients.
• Translate data into insights that support business decisions and account growth.
• Monitor key business metrics and communicate performance updates to stakeholders.
• Create, maintain, and update items within Costco systems.
• Support new item launches and ongoing item maintenance activities.
• Assist with Syndigo content management and digital product information updates.
• Support Smarter Sorting registration and program requirements.
• Ensure item setup, product information, and program documentation remain accurate and current.
• Monitor customer purchase orders and support issue resolution as needed.
• Maintain accurate shipping, invoicing, and operational records within internal systems.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to support smooth execution across programs and initiatives.
• Identify operational issues and proactively drive resolution.
• Help ensure strong execution across account activities and retailer requirements.
• Partner with sales, supply chain, operations, and finance teams to support account objectives.
• Coordinate communication and information sharing across stakeholders.
• Support special projects and business initiatives as needed.
• Contribute to a collaborative, client-focused team environment.
